Saturday February 4: Lane Cove Community Independent Campaign Launches in front of 200 supporters this afternoon.

The community independent candidate for Lane Cove, Victoria Davidson, says the looming NSW election is a chance to bring community representation back to Parliament, to reclaim our voice, and to rebuild trust in politics. Victoria was speaking at the official launch of her campaign on Saturday at the Gladesville RSL & Community club.

Friday January 20: Lane Cove demands stronger action on gambling reform  

Community independent candidate for Lane Cove, Victoria Davidson, today said the major parties had failed to meet the community’s expectations for meaningful poker machine reform and she would push for stronger harm reduction initiatives if elected on March 25.

Wednesday January 18: Lane Cove Community Independent Critical of Narrabri Gas Project and Pipeline

Community independent candidate for Lane Cove, Victoria Davidson, today said she was disheartened to hear that NSW Treasurer Matt Kean has granted an Authority to Survey for the gas pipeline intended to connect the Narrabri Gas Project to the Hunter.  

“By approving this project the NSW Government is duping the Lane Cove community which cares about meaningful climate action,” Victoria said.

“This project is not in the public interest and will not solve our short term energy issues." Read More


Tuesday December 6: Community Independent announced for the NSW seat of Lane Cove

A Lane Cove businesswoman, Victoria Davidson, is the third independent candidate to announce she is contesting a seat in the NSW State Election on March 25.

She’ll be running in Lane Cove against Planning Minister, Anthony Roberts.

The local group which found and launched Kylea Tink’s successful federal campaign, North Sydney’s Independent, asked Victoria to be a community independent candidate for Lane Cove. Read More
